About Susan Wallace, MSN, FNP-C

Susan Wallace, MSN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner supporting patients and the board-certified gastroenterologists at Hattiesburg GI Associates PLLC, which has two locations in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Susan is a Hattiesburg native and graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1987. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1995 and began her nursing career at Wesley Medical Center in 1996, working in the Cardiovascular Recovery Unit and the Intensive Care Unit. She left Wesley Medical Center in 2011 to pursue higher education. Susan achieved her master’s degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women in July of 2012.

Susan has one child, Trey, and they reside in Hattiesburg.

Undergraduate degree: Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Nursing, University of Southern Mississippi

Graduate degree: Master’s of Nursing, Mississippi University
